PART III – TAX DATA SHARING AUTHORIZATION
This section explains and documents your authorization for PaisaTax to use and disclose your Tax Information in connection with the Service and as required by U.S. tax law.
By using the Service and accepting this Agreement, you provide the following authorizations:
1. Use of Tax Information to Prepare and File Returns
You authorize PAISA TAX LLC and its systems (including the AI Assistant, Proprietary Algorithm, and Licensed Tax Preparer Services) to:
- Collect, store, and use your Tax Information and Personal Information to prepare, calculate, and review your federal, state, and local tax returns and related forms
- Generate or pre-fill tax forms and schedules
- Display draft returns and related documents to you for review and approval
You understand that you are responsible for reviewing all returns before filing and for confirming that the information is complete and accurate.
2. Electronic Filing and Communications with Tax Authorities
You authorize PaisaTax to:
- Transmit your tax returns and related forms electronically (e-file) or by other permitted means to the IRS and applicable state or local tax authorities when you instruct us to do so (for example, by clicking “File,” “Submit,” or a similar button)
- Receive electronic acknowledgments, rejections, or other communications from tax authorities relating to your returns
- Use and disclose your Tax Information as necessary to respond to technical or filing issues, or to correct and resubmit returns as required and authorized by you
3. Sharing with Service Providers and Professionals
You authorize PaisaTax to disclose your Tax Information and Personal Information to:
3.1 Third-Party Service Providers
For purposes of:
- Data hosting and storage
- Encryption and key management
- Identity verification and fraud prevention
- Payment processing
- Document scanning and processing
- Secure video and chat communications
- Analytics, security monitoring, and technical operations
3.2 Licensed Tax Preparers
To enable human tax professionals engaged by PaisaTax to provide Licensed Tax Preparer Services to you, which may include reviewing your information, preparing returns, answering questions, and assisting with filing.
All such parties are required to protect your data and use it only for purposes of providing services to or on behalf of PaisaTax, subject to Applicable Law and professional obligations.
4. Legal and Compliance Disclosures
You authorize PaisaTax to disclose your Tax Information and Personal Information as reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with subpoenas, court orders, or lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities
- Cooperate with audits, examinations, or investigations by tax authorities
- Detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, abuse, or security threats
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of PaisaTax, our users, or the public
We will seek to limit such disclosures to what is legally required and appropriate under the circumstances.
5. Marketing and Non-Tax Uses of Tax Information
PaisaTax does not use or disclose your Tax Information for advertising purposes without your explicit consent. Where required by Applicable Law or IRS guidance, we will obtain your separate, express consent before:
- Using your Tax Information for purposes not directly related to preparing, filing, or supporting your tax returns; or
- Disclosing Tax Information to third parties for their own marketing or product offerings.
You may withdraw such consent at any time, subject to legal and operational constraints, by contacting us at support@paisatax.com.
6. Duration of Authorization
Your authorization under this Part III remains in effect:
- For as long as necessary to provide the Service and related support
- For as long as required to comply with applicable tax, legal, and regulatory retention obligations
- For as long as needed to resolve disputes and enforce this Agreement
You may request limitations on certain uses or disclosures where allowed by law, but we may retain and use information as necessary to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
